Those Lovable Lakers
Oh Lakers: Why do you play with my heart so much? Game 7's take years off my life, and now we all have to suffer due to the Lakers inability to put away the shorthanded Houston Rockets. Thursday's game was a tape (or Tivo considering it is the 21st century) replay of Sunday's atrocity. The Lakers put themselves in a hole that they just could not climb out of. What should we expect Sunday? I honestly can't say. That's what makes this one of the more frustrating teams to root for in recent memory. The talent is there, but mental toughness and focus just seems to escape them during some critical times. If I had to guess I would say that I expect the Lakers to win easily. But who really knows with this team? I, for one, have absolutely no clue what to expect. Sigh.

maybe if gasol doesnt make scola look like a first team all nba player next game they will win, tonight it looked like them being shorthanded really fueled them at home and played much harder and aggresive than the lakers, also if you ever need a group of floppers dont look no further than houston, fisher is killing the lakers as well, he takes terrible contested shots 3 seconds into the shot clock and gets burned consistently by brooks, he should have drawn another suspension tonight so he wouldnt have to play game 7, i thought farmar was very strong of the bench tonight and should play more mins

ReplyDeleteI love the the Lakers.However, I love making money as well.Can you imagine owning a drug store and watching Pepto Bismol and any other antiacids fly off the shelf as disgruntled Laker fans prepare for game seven.This influx of cash would be their version of stimulus.Why so many nervous Laker fans?It must be taking on the Houston Midgets.Their struggles against an over matched team is killing the fans.I'm surprised there has'nt been a glut of gun sales.Before we panic remember game seven is at Staples and if you've been following closely you know it's advantage Lakers.Just remember it won't be easy.I'm sure after blowing a twenty point lead in the forth quarter they will hang on to win. I hope.
