Lakers Advance to the NBA Finals
For the second straight year, the Los Angeles Lakers will represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals. However, we're all hoping it ends up differently this year. The Lakers defeated Denver in impressive fashion to end the series in six games. I'll have some thoughts from the Denver series as well as looking forward to the hypothetical matchups with either Cleveland or Orlando a little bit later today.. Just for the hell of it, my prediction for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals: Orlando 104 Cleveland 101.

i have a feeling it will be a blowout tonight, Orlando 109 Cleveland 91
ReplyDeleteI could definitely see that happening as long as Orlando shows up in the first quarter. They have been so much better than Cleveland in quarters 2-4 but have been horrendous to open the game. I want the Lakers to have home court
ReplyDeleteyea lebron really needs a true sidekick to win a championship, orlando is more of a well rounded team
ReplyDeleteA very good call by Paul. I think we match up better with Cleveland but I'm glad we have the homecourt now against Orlando.
ReplyDelete* side note that has been bothering me...in the paper the reporters always say "the Magic is ahead 3-2" I feel like it should be "the Magic ARE ahead 3-2". Stupid question, but how would you say it?
Dude that has been one of my pet peeves forever. They are a team regardless if their name is singular. I don't care if it's grammatically correct or not, it just sounds stupid. So ya, it's safe to say it bothers me too..
